Chatsworth Gin Collection Awarded at the IWSC 2022 Awards
Both Chatsworth Gins receive awards at the International Wine and Spirit Awards, IWSC 2022
What a year for the Chatsworth Gins already, with 90 points out of a possible 100, Chatsworth Gin wins a Silver medal at the International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC).
Tasting notes from the IWSC: "Richly resinous and roundly aromatic herbal notes of juniper and cooling pine entice. A clean, vibrant citrus palate is well balanced by a satisfying long finish. A beautifully big and bold gin with delightfully fresh and moreish flavours that continue seamlessly to the finish. Magnificently classical in its complexity and structure. A joy to drink."
Chatsworth Rose Pink Gin, just missed a Silver with 89 points and came out with Bronze medal. This year there were over 1,200 gins entered and judged by 85 of the spirits industries leading experts and the tasting process is one of the most rigorous within the industry.
Tasting notes from the IWSC: "Juniper-led profile with complexity on the nose and a balanced palate."
All spirits were tasted by the IWSC’s carefully curated panels of industry experts, led by members of its Spirits Judging Committee: Ian Burrell, Marie Cheong Thong, Dawn Davies MW, Joel Harrison, Deano Moncrieffe, Richard Paterson OBE, David T. Smith and Olivier Ward.
